Stirling Products Limited (Stirling) is an animal healthcare company focused on the development and commercialisation of metabolic modifiers for a range of indications in international animal healthcare markets. Stirling is a public Australian company (ASX:STI) headquartered in Perth, Australia.

In August 2007 Stirling Products acquired Progressive BioActives Inc, a Canadian company that has developed an extremely purified form of yeast beta glucan for the livestock industry. This product is known in the market as ProVale^TM. Beta glucan is a natural immunopotentiator. In other words, when livestock species consume the beta glucan, their immunity is enhanced thus reducing the need for antibiotic use as growth agents. This has great applications in poultry, swine and aquaculture.

Stirling also has a pharmaceutical compound under development - R-salbutamol (also known as R-albuterol). R-salbutamol is a highly purified version of salbutamol, a well-established drug that has been used in the treatment of human asthma for more than 25 years.

Stirling's three technology platforms for R-salbutamol are:

1. Growth agents in livestock

2. Treatment for obesity in companion animals (dogs and cats)

3. Treatment of respiratory disorders in horses (primarily heaves)

With the addition of Stirling Products North America (trading as Progressive BioActives), Stirling has the ability to generate revenue in the immediate future from sales of ProVale^TM, as well as possessing a unique complimentary product for the R-salbutamol technology.
